Lighten Brush Example by RoseSoup
Following my last post about the lighten (dodge) brush i thought it might show those tips in practice.
I drew a simple image and duplicated the flat colour layer and picked a light source tone to use the with lighten brush. I created a tint layer to the face to add more warm tones to it. I also gently applied the lighten brush to the tint. I decided the hue shift in general needed more magenta so i added a low opacity duplicate layer and used the lighten brush set to pink.

@ChaoticMess88 For sure. I'll start working on it tomorrow :). Unlike the lighten brush it uses the Red Green Blue primaries instead of CMY. :)

How did you put a straight line? I was watching the play back and lines just appeared. What is this tool of power oh wise one?

There are three methods i use to get good lines.
One is switch only and that is the pixel brush.
The next is using the hard lazy brush and moving fast. This brush has line smoothing so when you move fast it creates really nice lines and you can also get nice curves with the same brush.
Lastly is my sneaky fav. If you draw on the very edge of your screen it will follow a perfect straight line. So zoom in so it is on the canvas and you can use the move tool afterwards.
