@tallycally103 Another tip that I can give personally is use sketchbook studies to your advantage. Basically what I mean in steps is: 1) Research. Research the anatomy of hands, the basic length, etc. and get a good understanding of joint placement, how it affects the movement of a hand, and so on and so on.
2) Observe. The reason observe isn't number 1 is because I want you to observe your hands, but WITH the basic understanding of what you just researched. This helps with perspective and such
and 3) Practice, this is probably a basic step, but practicing without understanding anything is counter-intuitive. Instead, recall what you observed about your own hands, and mesh that with your research. This gives detailed understanding of hands' anatomy, perspective, length, and anything else. But knowing what these thing are is a completely different thing than knowing how to draw and paint them. And so practice helps. Set aside a couple pages and practice in your sketchbook.
