I don't hear it said enough,
nobody should make you feel bad for what you create.
Self-hate is an epedemic among creatives, and often the brightest of us, are the worst affected.
I hear the advice over and over again, that feeling inadiquate, frustration, constant imposter syndrome and fear are all just parts of being an artist, but I wonder to myself, is that true?
I am often looking for self-help as an artist, and I just come across content that's just like: that's being an artist.

If your creative issues are causing you mental health problems that are affecting your life in a negative way, I would advise you to seek professional help.
I feel a lot of younger artists go down a rabithole of watching all the tutorials and tip videos on art they can, wanting to be the best.
Creatives have more pressure on them than ever nowadays, with the social media lanscape, which is both a blessing and a curse, one thing about the internet, is that sometimes, people say nasty things for no good reason, just to "troll".
Try not to take it personally, really, the only people's opinions you should really care about are your friends.
There are a lot of people out there on the internet, you can't please all of them, so it's best to just stick with doing what you like, most of all.

Thanks Hammer. I feel like nobody really understands what artists go through, especially to be better and with outside stuff. This actually helps more than you know because I've more than once almost burned myself out trying to improve and be someone I'm not...

@InkDrawz
I made this because I was frustrated about the lack of good advice for artists, I've found better advice that helped my art struggles in mental health channels, there is a clear overlap between mental health and art, and I think there needs to be more mental health support specifically for artists.
