I felt like I wasn't drawing enough paintings of humans with darker skin, so i drew this! It turned out great in my opinion :D

in general i find a lot of artists could do with drawing more diverse characters so you aren't alone there. i think most people just get stuck in a comfort zone. it's a sneaky way that racial normative systems are built. Good on you for breaking out of it. Berry looks adorable!!!

I agree, I also think I should draw more male characters-- I believe because I myself am a girl I feel more comfortable drawing females!

And plus- I have more trouble drawings men so it'd be good to practice them too!! :)
