Cont- She would have her cane with her to ward off any possible grimm she may encounter on the road, yet it wouldn't be too overwhelming. However, due to the amount of grimm activity that started to arise, she found it more difficult to defend her flock. Many merchants on the road started to go missing, leaving many towns with no wares. Needing the money to support her family, she continued on the road to deliver to those who needed it. Her brothers chimed in, yet she refused for them to be involved for it would slow the production of goods. As she was heading off to visit a neighboring town, she was ambushed by a single man who tried to steal away her sheep. This man happened to be Denzel. in the midst of the fight, the sheep have been gravely injured; both Denzel and Mary losing the battle. Denzel ran off while Mary tried to lead the survivors back. However, she was left with nothing. This caused them to lose a good amount of money, prompting for them to sell their farm. Feeling that she needs to desperately make ends meet, she seperates from her family and carries on becoming a huntress; where she may regain all that she has lost.
