spent many hours when i was young watching what me and my siblings affectionately referred to as 'the blank tape' because it was unlabelled. it was full of old black and white cartoons and gave me incredible nightmares.

Ahh I love the perspective on this, it really makes me feel like I'm a kid sitting on the floor watching VHS tapes! Did you ever find out what cartoons were on the tape later on? I adore this painting!
