Thank you for submitting this painting for review using the #rdfb tag. I am not familiar with the Amulet series. However, this has an interesting mix of a happy greenery feel, with the heavy fog, which usually would be more foreboding. I like the projecting stone formation. The shading makes that work well. The fog has a bit too much of a patterned look with four big puff balls in a row. The lightness of the fog is good, but it helps to break up the edges into something more random and organic. The mountains in the back are too close to look that flat. There should be some shadows and light areas to define cliffs, etc. It makes one wonder what is down below that overhand, which builds some good suspense. Good job.
