Somewhere beyond the adorable eyes and fluffy fur lies... the treat monster. literally. My cat wI'll cry at 3 am for some wet food. and here's a funny story that is literally true, no lying:
i was really young and I heard a ghostly wail coming from the hallway. I didn't move and when I did, I did slowly. I gingerly opened the door and in my hallway was... the cat. She wanted treats. Beyond her cute appeadance was a need for treats. A treat monster. I onl remember that because if my vivid fear of a ghost which was my cat in the end.

ikr, the exact same painting went up not long after i posted this but i think that may have been a coincidence as i used a pixel art cat reference, but now its everywhere

its a coincidence from reference, or at the exact same time but it is no coincidence that people are using the same cat and size but with different background colours.
i would be fine if someone asked and mentioned me if i said yes but people are straight up copying :(
