What I will state is that neglect is also a form of abuse. Refusing aid to those in need is an action not an opinion. What you are saying does not offend me. What you are saying lacks empathy. You are free to do what you want with your comment. You have done as many others like you have before and taken a post about the abuse and torture of children and tried to make it about YOU and YOUR "opinion". You have essentially positioned yourself as viewing your opinion to be more important than trauma

Just in case people think that i'm being harsh or confrontational... I am genuinely saying this from a place of kindness and education. I have screenshots of hakuna posting these exact comments (copypasted) on multiple lgbt posts all within a few hours of eachother. I'm not saying that anyone who doesn't agree is making it about them. Posting "I don't support lgbtq+ and i will never chnge my mind" on multiple posts is absoutely trying to centre the conversation around your opinion. it is bait.

Here's a thought experiment. Lets say there was a charity event for dogs who have suffered abuse. Then i got up on stage and said "i don't help dogs and nobody here can make me!" and it turns out i gave the same speach at a bunch of animal shelters that day... then i come back and do it again. What would you think about my behaviour?

I deleted @Hakuna28 comments because i don't want anymore anti-lgbt discussion here. If you don't support you dont have to tell everyone constantly. You don't have to call people sinners. End of discussion. Take that somewhere else please.

@RoseSoup What you said about the dog thing, I would honestly think ok it's your choice, I respect your decision and won't argue with you. But you don't have to constantly talk about it.

@loidforger Thanks. I'm okay. I just today found out that there had been a bunch of drama on here because of anti-lgbt rhetoric from some and it put a downer what i was feeling when i posted this. i just wanted to show thanks for the good i had seen but it uncovered a lot of bad i had missed. With my past experience working directly with literal ********** criminals it is frustrating to be able to immediately what went wrong in both the stimulus and the mediation. Can't be helped now though.

In the same regards i respect that you don't support lgbtq+ but you don't have to come to the events to tell us. You can make your own space to talk about that and there are already plenty of them. Another commenter (i deleted) said the sinners thing.

@Hakuna28 thank you very much too. As mentioned earlier i am not offended by these things but i do see the potential for them to cause harm. Recognising what was wrong about your initial posts is very mature and I'm so greatful that you did. i know that i do things wrong from time to time so we can only hope that we each keep working towards becoming more empathetic towards others.

@Marble-Boo I'm glad that whet i wrote was helpful. I think it is really important to talk about real experiences. People treat being hömöphobic like it is a political position or a religious value and it is really messed up and false. It's just hate and they point to those things to justify hate.

For clarification it was a care group not a camp. We worked all year round offering advice, signposting mental health and being a point of access to report child-åbůse.

I'm straight, but i do support LGBTQ+ because love is love :]
