For our first study we may want to aim for covering verses 1-17 in chapter 1. It would allow for information on the background , etc. which will take some time. It also culminates in an introduction to the gospel.
Then we would be ready for the next, longer section, starting in verse 18 for the next week.
It may also take some time to figure out the pros and cons of this method, and how it will all work. I anticipate the message delay could cause some difficulty. We could work all of that out in a shorter message the first week and still end on a high note.

Yeah, that's good. There will most likely be alot of akward silence, so we will have to try and break that as best we can @tall73

@Wind_Waker my recent ....interesting...piece of art is to get people to re-think the neural link implants that folks such as Musk or the WEF transhumanists want folks to buy into.
I think it should go without sayng, but connecting hardware that interfaces with your brain and other networks is asking for trouble.

@Wind_waker if you can upload the same text Bible Study painting, that would be fine. Not sure how that works if you can upload it to mulitple accounts.

If not just use the same painting by Hailsss again for the study.
Remember, the goal is to get through roughly verse 17, whle understanding a bit about the background.

lol just a tip but you can use the website on a computer and it is much faster to type, if you are a good typist

hm, the first four verses of Romans are actually quite complex. I hope it isn't too much for folks to follow.

But for now it is already two hours into it. We can see if folks want to add more.
Perhaps next week we can get further. He packs a lot into the first four verses.

Given that we didn't get far last week, and the delay in comments is considerable, I think we should try to cover verse 5-15 this time.
I we put the study painting and verses up ahead of time, while referring back to the previous study, then people can start thinking of comments to put.

I think at this point we may need to abandon the notion of a live study and just put the verses for people to add throughout the week.

Perhaps after three weeks, and two attempts we may need to re-assess how we are doing things.
I think the interface makes group discussion at the same time difficult (even with the handy trick @Wind_Waker noted).
If we keep doing the verse by verse study of Romans it may take quite some time in the current fornmat. We get some comments, but the core group appears to not have the time to be there every week.
With that in mind I think we need to fall back to a back-up plan. We could plan well-done paintings that highlight specific passages, and then discuss those passages as people have time in the comments.
WE can tailor it to hit different aspects. The first part of Romans turned out to have a lot of technical terms that needed to be defined, whereas some other passages are easier to step into.

But we would still be studying specific passages as we go, so it would allow for study when people have the time, and would encourage new people to check it out.
If we do this we can delete the current paintings, and then put Hailsss Bible painting up again with a comment explaining that we are shifting directions as we think it will make it easier for everyone to follow.
Or, if folks can commit to being here and being active we can try to continue the Romans study, but this would be an ongoing regular commitment.

@tall73 i think thats a better idea, not going for a live discussion that is. And maybe we could make a sort of schedule for who does the art.
As in, i draw something for it, then someone else etc.. That way the "chores" are kinda equally distributed.
Also, @tall73 are you sure you dont want the login info to the account? Its just that you're definitely the most knowledgable person here, and maybe could do a few drawings here and there?

@tall73 And i dont mean that you'd be doing all the work, just might be good to have access to it.

I think we may have things backwards. We would get more exposure if we just use the #Biblestudy tag and put them on our own accounts.

I gave a short explanation since someone asked about the study in the last study post. But we probably want to post something explaining what is going on.
My suggestion would be to post something like the following ,though we can tailor the language:

Some have been asking about the weekly Bible study. It has proven harder to get everyone on at the same time than anticipated, due to different time zones, school, etc. And the comment delay has made it difficult to converse back and forth.
However, since there is an interest in studying the Bible we will still post studies at times. We are going to focus on individual passages, and allow people to read and post as they have time. We will post these using the #Biblestudy tag.
