Trying out a new style is always a bit scary so I get that you're a bit insecure

@PoodleKingdom Still haven't found my shiny Shaymin, so I've been drawing some things... :( I'm over a thousand encounters now. And that's good that you don't smoke or drink, but I was mainly talking to the young impressionable children here, haha. XD Still proud of you, though.

@Shen_Gallery Wow, I'm impressed you like it, Shen. You always seem so sweet and innocent and THIS... It's a little darker than the adorable Pokemon I see you draw, lol. XD But thank you very much! I was hoping to evoke a sense of story and emotion when I drew it.

I think the character's actually from a manga? Not sure which one. I just happened to stumble upon the drawing on another site and was really captivated by the style. So I had to replicate it, to see if there was anything I could learn from it. And I did learn a little bit. I learned how to draw tilted heads a little better.

But, ah, now I'm babbling. Sorry. You give me an inch and I walk all over you. ^^ Haha. But I wish I could link the original art here.

You have to go through Victory Road to route...224, I think? Anyway, at the end of the route, you should encounter Shaymin.

Where did you get the shiny Shaymin? Did you hunt for it in the original Diamond/Pearl games? I have a shiny Shaymin, too, but I cheated to get it. Whoops. But I don't do that anymore. Not that there's anything really wrong with it. It just feels more satisfying to find a shiny on my own nowadays.

What do you mean you wanted to get the Shaymin in Diamond for Crystal? Is that a typo? 'Cause you can't transfer Shaymin to Crystal.

@PoodleKingdom I used to have an Action Replay for my DS. It's a cheating device that you can use to do all sorts of cheats in your game. I used it to make some of my Pokemon shiny, back in the day. I guess it's more in this gray area of neither good or bad. Some people are okay with it, others are not. It's fine with me because you can obtain the same Pokemon in the game, you just have to work harder for it. But some people can give abilities to Pokemon they can't normally have. Which is also okay because you can't use those Pokemon on any online battles. I'm not sure if the same can be said in the DS era of Pokemon, though... Which might be why some people aren't okay with it, even to this day.

Someting tells me you didn't play a lot of the early Pokemon games... But that's okay. :) It's nice that you give Pokemon to your sister. Maybe you can try shiny hunting Shaymin in Brilliant Diamond? We can have a race to see who finds it first! XD But, ahhh... Not many people are crazy enough to shiny hunt, so I understand, lol.

well that's pretty cool! :D I've not heard of such a thing! :'D sounds a little sticky but it's just a videogame anyway so I'm not picky about how you obtain the shinies. :O

I played diamond first on the ds, it was the first pokemon game I ever played. I played heart gold on the ds too! I didn't play any of the older ones till years later, I played pokemon yellow on my 3ds! :P crystal version sounds cool though I want to try it!! o w o

@PoodleKingdom Crystal version is my favorite Pokemon game, but Sapphire was my first, in terms of the main series. Pokemon Stadium 2 was my first Pokemon game ever.

Yellow was cool because I loved how Pikachu would follow you around everywhere. HGSS, too. I guess HGSS is like my favorite Pokemon game too, since it's remake of Gold/Silver/Crystal.

@Ak4meShir0 Thanks! I'm a pretty bad teacher, but... Something that helps me is remembering that the base of the ear almost reaches the jawline and the tip should allign with the eyes. I probably should've moved the ear up a little bit more in this picture... Oh, and also! Don't forget the tragus because I see a lot of people forget that.
Once you have that mapped out, the inside of the ear should be much easier. Just fill in the blanks, pretty much.
