Due to the 3DS and Wii U eShops' closure, as well as this app's demo and sale, I finally made the decision to pick up Colors Live on my Nintendo Switch. This first painting is the app's title in the style of Inscryption's logo. I want to record some impressions I got from the app while using it.

Firstly, when I tried the demo, I used a pen with a rubber tip that worked with my Nintendo Switch's screen. It made writing text on the screen kind of hard, so I later bought a screen protector and a "pen" that looks a lot like the Colors Sonarpen, but without pressure sensitivity. I don't mind missing out on it since I rarely used the simulated pressure sensitivity in my works on Colors! 3D.

As you can see, I really got a kick out of the pixel brush. In fact, both it and the select and move tool had convinced me to buy the app. This painting was partly a test on how well I could use the pixel brush. You can probably expect me to use the pixel brush at times (if not often) in my works, since I like doing pixel art. (which is why I bought Pixelmaker on my Wii U years ago)

Lastly, I know Colors Quest is a thing, but I doubt I will try it. I can't paint well under pressure. (in this case, that campaign's time limits are the source of pressure)

That's all I have for my impressions. I might occasionally post paintings from my 3DS, (I still have some unfinished ones on there) but I will likely use Colors Live on my Switch more often.
