@Cilazuza thanks. You can use pixel brush to make straight lines, only one is enough, then duplicate it and adjust them.
iirc there will be grid helper on the future updates.

@Cilazuza oh sorry. For 3DS it's even more simple, just use the edge of the lower screen as ruler.

I am sorry I have another question the 3ds you are using is it xl or regular. The last couple of days I am trying the 3ds xl I am just wondering if the 3ds size will be ok. I am drawing mostly when the kids fall asleep and the 3ds xl size is maybe to bright so my question is if the smaller size is somehow acceptable for drawing. Thank you

@Cilazuza I'm using XL (old version).
Regular still acceptable, because it has smaller screen it will show sharper image. I've try both of them, personally i prefer to XL, because bigger size which means more friendly for your eyes, and the pen is more convenient to use than that extendable regular stylus.
