@Lynex for me, it's sketching, constructing lines from the sketch, and either adding or erasing to get it to look how I want (trial-and-error).
There's also practice and familiarity. I've been drawing on the 2DS for years now so I have an idea of what I'm doing. Not so much on the switch though -o-
Ah, this is so cool! I love the broken glass! The coloring and the effect! Giratina is tired of being trapped in the distortion world. Time to break free! (I'll have to find the orininal Pokemon card later!) Very well done!
But shucks, you give me so much credit. I'm not the first one to copy a drawing of a Pokemon card, you know. But I couldn't be more pleased to know that you were inspired by something I drew! It's like the highest praise that any artist could receive. So I'm very happy, thank you!
#Mewsea: True but it has been awhile that I forgot about the amazing tcg art and gijinka. That and you drew an awesome snom replica (better than the original in my opinion). And you are one of several amazing people that constantly inspire me!!! (you too Winxy) That and I did only draw this because of your art so credit where it is due XP
Oh, stop, you. You're gonna give me a big head, lmao. Although...I do hate to admit it, but I WAS thinking that my Snom looked a little better than the original. It made me kinda sad... BUT ENOUGH ABOUT ME ALREADY! WHY DID I FORGET TO LIKE THIS AMAZING ART THAT YOU CLEARLY PUT A LOT OF TIME AND EFFORT INTO!?
Sorry. I got a little emotional there. Anyway...
I still can't find the original card art for this Giratina. Do you remember the illustrator's name? All I did was google "Giratina tcg" but none of them looked like yours. I might have to look at all the card art for Giratina on Bulbapedia or something.
@Mewsea: Ah, that's because it's inspired by the giratina and garchomp art. Basically, I saw how giratina was shattering space and just really wanted to draw that effect rather than the scene. I did have two other versions with more going on but I felt like they distracted and took away from my main focus; the reality break effect. I'm way too fickle to take an exact replica without trying out changes XP
