I somehow found out the character's backstory and a bunch of fantheories.

(Idk if I'm getting their names mixed up)

Basically roli's parents are going through divorce and rita is just there with no backstory, and is most likely roli's imaginary friend.

That was my best attempt at a random info dump, need more practice obviously.

As for my story, my mind kinda went "Subject" and through word association made some kind of story about Rolli and Rita being failed science experements that have been held in a remote facility for several years, never knowing the world outside.

The story is also going to be a commentary on how people were so hyped about early CGI animations, and how that hype for 3D graphics has all but gone over the years.

My mind is weird like that lol

I just realized how weird it is that Rolli and Rita are the only humans, like, Rolli is in a classroom that's entirely empty and the teacher is just a disembodied voice lol, Ik there were definitely technichal limitations, but still, it's weird af.
