@crimson_666 Hey bro, the way I did it was with the big soft airbrush! If you want it to be more subtle, you can turn down the opacity!

Eye color: Grey/blue

Hair: blonde with highlights/ side-swept bangs

Makeup: I only really wear concealer, mascara and some blush, but feel free to do the makeup however you want!

Freckles/Scars: none... but i have small hoop earnings xD

Not sure what kind of answer do you really want, but what's traditional media do you usually use? Maybe the sort answer is the 'steps'. You can't/don't have to exactly copy the steps that you always do in traditional art for digital art, find most comfortable yet efficient way to draw in digital, each artist has their own way tho.

hi! sorry late reply, we talk on Discord about this, and i think you're doing great, just practise and continue practising and stay optimistic :)

using dolls as reference is some fun practise but be careful, the dolls are able to do weird poses , not helping the drawing, and the face on a doll is usually not that great, even can be wrong, usually eyes too big and too low..
I think your long eyelashes are fun but if it's used too much it will look as if you are not able to make it normal, and they are drawn straight , that doesnt look practical :P

try to use as differnt dark color instead of black, even dark grey is better than black, try to look at nice examples and you'll notice real black is not used much.

on the topic of portrait realism, you did a good job, and the more you practise you'll notice how things connect,
the more I practise the more connections I can make .. from the neck to the nose to the eyes to the chin.
The overall style of a face has a flow and needs attention until the end.
even in the final stage it is important to check the inside and outside , a small mistake is suddenly a differnt face...
and then just try to keep it real you know what I mean
