@Lydi072 oh yeah! Personally i cant stand water color o-o im too impatient to wait for it to dry, and even though my paper is super thick AND i tape it down, it still warps T-T but thats cool if your decent with it! :D

This looks good! And it has a challenging variety of non-organic shapes. Transparent stuff is always cool if you pull it off right. I remember an epic vector image of a water pistol over on Deviant Art years ago. It looks like you got the effect right. And it is a bit harder than vector because you have to freehand the angles and curves.

@Haillss I take your view of watercolor. My kids and wife do watercolor, but I only sparingly do so. It requires planning because you have to preserve sections of paper for lights, and if you do something wrong with trahsparent tones you can't just undo as with digital. I also don't care for the drying. But it is a beautiful medium for those who are good at it.
What paper do you usually use? Watercolor is more finicky than most regarding paper. We usually use Arches, and it holds up well. But it is spendy.
@Lydi072 If you are not sure about acrylics then you should try gouache. Gouache is essentially opaque water color with a high pigment load. It handles a lot like watercolor, though doesn't use quite as much water in most cases, and also isn't as picky about paper. You can paint dark to light or light to dark, so you don't have to plan as much. And it can re-wet so you can go back even some time later and re-work.
You can also thin it down with a lot of water and use stains for an underpainting, or you can even use it somewhat transparently like watercolor if you thin it down. it is a very versatile medium that you would already have a feel for if you use watercolor.

@tall73 For my paper i have some of "masters touch" 140lb watercolor paper. It usually holds up ok, i just use too much water ;-; Although i dont really like the texture it has, so ive been using smooth bristol paper instead x,D
