So, I have this glitch happening where if someone mentions me in their painting or in the comments, it will show up on my notifications right? Well if they get banned or quit colors before I went and clicked that notification, it would say sorry painting was deleted and it just sits in my notifications. It can be pretty annoying and I hope you please see this. Thank you.

@jaames that is not funny. I don't care if a glitch produces a cool effect. You fix the bug, not check out its effect, unless you absolutely have to (if you are doing it for yourself just because you want to see it, that's no excuse, but if it causes a serious event such as game crashing, then you can see). I have not played the playback, but I hope you fixed the bug.

Usually what lags/glitches/freezes/crashes my console on Colors Live is playing a painting's playback that took over 2 weeks to create the painting (such as @-zyik-'s Mr. and Mrs. Crowley painting), not a glitch you found. You took only 20 minutes to make this.

Hey @ProfessionalMedia67 with all due respect, I think you need to calm down, this isn't that serious whatsoever. There's really no need to be so rude.

As I said in the painting description, this bug was found during a testing phase and was fixed before the update went out... over four years ago...

I ended up posting this because the bug happened to cause a neat visual side-effect that could be used to make interesting art, a "happy little accident" to use the words of Bob Ross. :)

As for the issues you experienced with other paintings, I'm not sure about that, but the playback system is incredibly complex and it's not always possible to catch every bug before an update is released. Such bugs usually only occur after a very long and specific series of steps happen, so it can be hard to narrow down a way to repro them. If you're able to reduce them to a list of simple steps that someone could repeat from a blank painting, by all means report them to Jens!

I haven't personally worked on Colors Live for something like 3 years now - I work full-time elsewhere - so unfortunately I can't really do anything about any bugs you experience. I'm only active again to help with the transition to a new moderator (writing guides, training, etc) after Zyik left.

Anyway, it seems this painting's playback is fully bug-free now and doesn't cause any issues - I suspect any lingering problems related to this glitch have since been fixed in subsequent updates - but even if it did, there's no way that a crash could cause permanent harm to a Nintendo Switch. :)

@jaames I will play the playback in this painting and I will tell you if I crash or not.

I played the playback; my console lagged so much it went to 1 FPS and I had to back out then back in the painting. I did not crash or freeze my game, the lag was lagging me to 1 FPS per second.
