While drawing from life is good practice, it is definitely easier to draw lights like this from a photo, as staring at a light for a long time is tough on the eyes!

alright! :)
I have my lights hidden , staring at any light directly is making me feel uncomfortable! this painting is even making me avoid looking right into it :)

@madwurmz well at least you managed to look at the screen long enough to hit the like button! Yes, it is a strange thing that even representations of bright lights can feel bright. But that is especially true in digital with backlights.
