Fiona blinked, "Huh...? Aren't we already talking?"

"Mmmmm... Yes and no."

"Wha... Are you... Trying to change the subject?"

Boreas looked to Fiona and nodded, "I am."

"But--" Fiona was quick to protest.

"Listen I know what we started is important. It's /extremely/ important.
But I am Boreas--your uncle. Call me selfish, but in the three days I've been active, we haven't once spoken just you and I.
I want to talk with you, Fiona."
There was absolutely more to it than that, but the Icy Elemental didn't want to overload her.

Fiona blankly stared at her uncle. She was starting to feel like her mind was going in circles.
However... Way deep inside her, she knew she wanted to talk with her uncle too. She wanted to break out of the cycle. But there were so many things to think and talk about...

Boreas quietly waited for Fiona's answer, and after a while, she met his gaze.

Fiona could tell there was more to this than meets the eye... Quite literally, Boreas didn't show his emotions much, not even through his eyes.
"...Yeah. I wanna talk, too. It feels like it's been forever since I've even seen you... I've got so many questions." She brought her hand up and rubbed her face as she said that last part, which muffled her voice.

"Mmhm, I do too. So, try to relax and work with me here.
Fi... How old are you now?" Boreas asked, closing Fiona's diary, but using his thumb as a bookmark.

'Dumbfounded' could now be added to the widening list of tired expressions Fiona had made since she woke up, "How... Old? Uhh..." She had to pause,
"I think a year has passed since I met the group... And then it's been a while...
That means... Twenty-four? And maybe a half?"

Similarly, Boreas also needed a moment, "...Great skies above." He muttered under his breath, "I haven't seen you in about seven years...
You've certainly done a lot in that time."

"Uh... Yeah, there's been a /ton./" The corners of Fiona's mouth twitched, like she wanted to smile at Boreas' positive tone, but couldn't quite get there. "I always wondered where you were, back a few years ago...
Speaking of that, why did we find you here? What happened?"

"Right, my eyes are green," Weaver repeats, trying desperately to keep himself focused and strong through everything, and also dearly hoping that what he's about to do will work, "What about my nose? How many nose hairs do I have sticking out?"
... He says this, also forgetting that his nose is still broken and rather messy-looking from earlier...

Dreamcatcher nodded his head when his brother confirmed his eye color "yeah" the fire that had been building up began to cool back down and his mind simmering down to a fog.
It wasn't until his brother told him to count his nose hairs that really got his mind off track, Catch stared at him, his eyes broke away from his eyes and went to his brother broken nose.

" yeah! Let's count them Catch! It be a game!" Anna cheered and then points at Weaver nose and start it off " Let's see, I see one!"

It took a moment but this was all so confusing, his eclipse derailed from the destructive path it was on and he finally blinked a few times " what?" Catch eyes went back up to meet his brother with confusion and looking back to normal but very tried " how many nose hairs? Weaver your nose is broken buddy " he said placing a hand on his brother shoulder

Malice had suppress his form and manage to keep standing, it wasn't until he felt the sudden shift in Dreamcatcher emotions that he let himself slowly fine the bottom of the bathtub again, he just like they're resting as a solid black wolf with mess matted fur, he mumbled something about the worst day but didn't use good words to describe it.

The girl was patient while letting the person figure out what he wanted to ask, watching him on and off between nervous glances around the room or to the floor..

When he finally came to his question, Crystals eyebrows raised a bit in surprise, not having expected what was asked. “Am I ill? I.. Um.. No, I- I don’t think so..” She responded, sounding perplexed at first, but towards the end her voice sounded more and more unsure. ‘Do.. Do I look sick?’ She inwardly wondered, taking a better moment to think about it and how she probably looked. Crystal gazed down at herself and the dirt smudged on her clothes and skin, a few stray scrapes and the places where a bit of blood had soaked through some of the bandages.. She was pretty roughed up after the day, but hadn’t stopped, and maybe hadn’t wanted to stop, to consider the shape she was in. Part of her didn’t even want to know how her face looked, knowing good and well it was most likely pale and tired and not doing good at hiding all the emotions she was feeling.

Crystal self-consciously ran a hand through her hair as if it would do anything help, but soon looked back up at the person and gave a small, gentle smile, having noticed the concern in his voice. “I’m okay,” she reassured, “Me and some friends were out in the city today while the whole mess of chaos was happening, we had to deal with some stuff too, but for the most part I’m okay, just a little roughed up. We only got here a little bit ago and haven’t cleaned up yet.” She paused, but seeing how difficult it was for him to form his question, seemingly not knowing what words to use, Crystal wondered if she had answered well enough and thought to ask, “Is that kind of what you meant?”

As the red king sat there he was still trying to figure out what it is that seem missing, so much of him memories was, to the point he didn't even know if he had any of his own.... his girl looked so familiar he thinks and something just felt special about her. the Expressions on his face shifted as he thought about things, he wasn't aware on how the body moves with different emotions, he was mostly confused and concerned but occasionally flicker of frustration would skim across his face but all the while he was waiting for the girls reply.

As Crystal explained why she looks like she does and does her best to reassure him,
something different started surfacing in his memories, if he was a normal person he would have risesed a hand up to his head as his mind try to sort things out but he didn't know to do that so he just made faces, grimacing as blurred images and muffled sounds came to mind, he knew what this girl was talking about, he thinks, or was there other girl? He doesn't remember but there was a girl and he wanted to kill her....his lip quiver and his hands begin to shake, he was scared, he didn't want to harm her and yet he try didn't he?

" y-ou.. y-ou are ok?... I am glad..." He finally replied nervously, he looks over the girl again but she did just explain that she and her friends were OK and though they got roughed up he was relieved in knowing this but guilt hung all over him, the red king cast his gaze downward " I... I am sorry for any hardship I have caused you and your companions...."

I think that everything?

Weaver couldn't be more relieved to hear that his nose is broken. He blinks a couple times, but breathes out a deep sigh, feeling the new change in Catch's emotions. "... Right, my nose is broken, you'll have to remind me why, later..." he mutters, letting himself relax some as he feels Eater's hunger slowly calm down as well. "Ugh... I'm so glad that worked... You're better now, right?"

" thank the moons!" Anna breathe out a sigh of Relief, she patted the top of her brother head and then let herself flop down in his red messy fluff.

Catch brow netted in confusion and concern, his emotions were a mess, half of them he didn't even know how to describe but what he did know was he was exhausted and just felt done, he felt this before, like he had been standing on the edge of a Hallow pit that the longer he stared into it, it was if it was pulling a part of him into its depths, were he couldn't see, he couldn't breathe and he couldn't think, all he felt was a rage, but it was more then that, this feeling wanted to destroy... Catch took a few deep breath after coming back to his senses, he was scared and worried and it hung in his voice " I-I did it again didn't I?...the eclipse "

"Yeah... I think that's what you called it..." Weaver replies, closing his eyes, "I was afraid we'd both lose ourselves there... We got you out of it, though..." He pauses, feeling the fear that's in Catch, something he can very well relate to. He also can't help but think about how urgently his brother needs help... How everyone urgently needs help. "You didn't do anything bad just now, other than scare us all, so try to be thankful for that. I want to help you deal with this 'eclipse' thing as soon as I can, but we just don't have time right now..."

relief wash over the Dreamer prince, he was thankful he didn't hurt anyone or made anything worse happen. His mind was a flurry of worries, how could they do something about the eclipse? Blue said it was Part of a Vaseterm, Catch didn't want to keep losing himself to this feeling if he could call it that, but he didn't know how and by what he knew no one else did ether or didn't care to try, it was just a part of them... but maybe there hope, at least he felt it, looking down, he nodded his head as he took a hand and rubs his face " o-k... ok..." the Dreamer prince repeated.

Rihanna grimaced, she looked to Weaver, both of the boys were in bad shape " we should wrap this up soon before something happens were you both can't handle " she then turned herself to look towards were Malice was, the reason why they were there " we still got him to...."

"Y-yeah... We should... We should," Weaver agrees with Rihanna, opening his eyes again, but needing a moment before he gets himself to stand up. "H-hey, Malice, we really gotta go..." he says, walking back over to the Nightmare King's bathtub and leaning on the edge of it, "Just a few more things I gotta ask... You said it's a range thing, right? You can enter my dreams if I'm in range? How much range do you have with that? You know our group travels around a lot, and I don't think you would be able to or should be nearby some of the places we go... And what about you? Will you be alright on your own?"

Dreamcatcher looks though his fingers as his brother moved away but he didn't do anything, he was just trying to get himself back together, he needed to hang in there a bit longer, thankfully he wasn't alone, he had his brother and sister with him and knew that.

Anna stuck with her partner and made calming noise to help sooth him, a long with encouraging words, however she was still paying attention to what Weaver and the Nightmare king were doing.

Malice ears twitchde with the young Nightmare footsteps, he just laid there seen it wasn't the moon blood freak who had good reason to kill him, but as for Weaver, he had reason to however Malice knew Weaver needed him..."
As the young Nightmare ramble his concerns Malice was coming up with a scheme... a moment passed after Weaver got stopped, Malice loy his head to the side and cut his eyes up at the young Nightmare and huffed " how can you possibly talk so much in your condition?" He pinded his ears back and let his head rest again " that could prove to be problematic....if I were not the King of Nightmares that is....it is true that my influence over the Nightmares is distorted, Soledormir had his hand in particular abilities of mine, one in which involves my ability to communicate and have Direct Control of lesser Nightmares...however there is still yet a way I could reach you despite your location, even now you have some connection with me or you wouldn't be alive...." he cut his eyes back to Weaver and glare at him " I need you to uphold your end of our bargain and to insure that I will uphold mine...." Malice then forces himself to sit up, the pain from his previous injuries wear on him in this form but he was no stranger to suffering.
Malice held himself with what little pride he had left, he made no sound of pain or should it on his face even though his body gave signs of it by quivering " I will place a curse upon you, as if you were one of the Ancients below me...with this curse I will be able to summon you as I do with the others, I will know when you sleep and therefore I will meet you there in your dreams... you and I have a deal, and this curse will seal it... if I failed to withhold my end of our bargain then I forfeit my title as king and serve under you, you may do as you wish with me, however if you fail your end I will ensure you will fail your quest " he ended with a bitter growl

//I just want to hurry up so we can go,// are Weaver's unspoken thoughts in regard to Malice's first question, and at first he has a slight, exhausted smirk at that, but a sense of dread quickly fills him as the Nightmare King continues... "A curse...?" he quietly repeats, "I... I gotta think about that for a moment..."
He glances over his shoulder at Rihanna and Catch. //A curse by default is a very bad thing...// he thinks, //He'd be able to summon me at any time--kinda control me in a way, that'd be bad if something like the Abyss came along and commanded him to do something awful using me... Is there no other way he'd be able to help me not have nightmares? It's not like we can just take him with us everywhere...// He ends up looking down, and with his next thoughts, he gradually tightens his grip on the edge of the bathtub. //... Maybe... Maybe I don't need to accept this... I can take it, I can endure it... I...//
Despite what he's trying to tell himself, a very strong part of him wants to take Malice up on his offer. His body and soul both are utterly wiped out, practically begging for some rest, but he knows he won't rest if he's subjected to Eater's wickedness while he sleeps... Even now, as he's just thinking about what would happen without Malice's curse, it terrifies him... But with the possibility of risks like these, how could he make a decision on his own?

With this mystery person being so hard on himself, Glory can't help but say something. "Excuse me, if you don't mind me butting in, but I want to say..." she starts, making sure she's visible in her bowl, "Mister, I don't think you've caused us any hardships aside from taking over our friend, but that's not even something you're doing intentionally... You've been apologizing for that so much already, I know you wouldn't be taking control over Crimson if you could help it. If anything, I think you might've actually saved our lives, because when we were trying to get away from that awful monster, you cast a spell, and that helped everyone. I know it helped me! I was really, really sick before you did that spell, and I'm doing so much better now."

Watching the way emotions and thoughts washed over him, Crystal couldn’t help but wonder what the person was really thinking about, but she wouldn’t ask.. at least not right now.

When he started to visibly shake, the girl’s expression was sad and concerned, she didn’t know what to do to help, but she scooted her chair a little closer, nodding when he reconfirmed that she said she was okay.

Crystals eyes then widened a bit with what he said lastly, and she was glad when Glory spoke up about it. The girl glanced over at the Fairfin for a moment as she listened, only briefly her eyebrows knitting curiously at the mention of a spell, then she looked back to the person and nodded, showing her agreement with Glory. “There’s no need to apologize, by the sounds of it, you’ve done nothing wrong here..”

Even through his grogginess Catch pick up on a few things the Nightmare king said with his offer and he didn't like... the Dreamer prince began to tug on Weaver's chain to get his attention, he followed up with his other hand and was gesturing with his finger to come over " ssp, Weaver "

Weaver quickly turns his head when he feels Catch pulling on his chain and he only briefly turns back to Malice to repeat what he said earlier, "I need a moment..." he then heads back to Catch, breathing heavily as he's trying to take deep breaths to calm himself down, and he kneels in front of his brother. "I... I don't think I should take him up on that offer, I've already got the Nightmare curse, I don't think I need another one..." he mutters, not thinking to speak telepathically this time.

"That's an interesting tale I'm still working out myself. Was on a mission with a Heaven's Blade. We were looking into something rather bizarre, if I remember right. Things didn't go well, and I ended up trapped as a core in this world.
With you as my point of reference... I was out for at least three years." The Captain explained.

"Three years...?! You... Made it /that/ long?! With bad guys after you and everything?!" Fiona's eyes were officially /huge./

"Hey, cool your jets... I'm wondering the same. That's something we can discuss later. For now, I'm simply thankful to be able to see you again."

Fiona didn't like that neither of them knew, but she understood, "I'm /really/ glad for that, too...!" She then squinted a little, gathering up her sleepy courage to say what she was thinking next, "...Uh... I kinda thought you would've been more... Angry, since you got here."

The red king didn't feel like he could do anything right or be of help to anyone so when the tiny Bellezza said he helped her that caught him off guard"...I-I did spell?..." the red king replied hesitantly, he didn't even know he was capable of something like that so it must have come from something of the young man body he possessed... " I-I am thankful that you are doing better ... however I... I should not receive your gratitude.... I am not capable to what you say.... I..." he keep his eyes down to his hands or more like on Crimsons, he knew these were not his, how none of this was".... if I did cast a spell it was only do to your friend abilities, not I...I simply can not do such things... I am glad that you both seen to be well.... but please, do not grant me such praises that I do not deserve... "

I'm doing alright, better then this morning, I ended up getting some rough news about two different family's my family know, jut lots of prayer for them . But besides that I'm good! I been having so much fun drawing lately x3 )

I'm doing good! Trying to get myself back into drawing stuff, I'm trying to redo all of Gehenna's references because there were things I should've talked to Shadow about before I did them 'XD But yeee! I'm doing pretty good :3 )

Boreas raised an eyebrow, "...Perhaps at one point I would have been." He shrugged, "Could list off all that doesn't sit well with me, but I don't see what good that would do at the moment. You remember my job, right?"

"You're a Shadow Hunter Captain... Someone who fights for the good of people everywhere?" Fiona answered.

"Yup." Her uncle pointed a finger gun at her. "Not a professional grump."

That managed to get somewhat of a laugh out of Fiona, which made the Captain chuckle, too.
"...Enough about me. How're you doing, kid? You're the one in a hospital bed." He asked, his tone carrying genuine concern.

Morning Glory pouts a little bit when the mystery man continues to doubt himself, she glances over at Crystal, then she gets herself up out of the bowl. "Now, mister, please don't be so hard on yourself," she says, drying herself off some with one of the nearby towels and making a few cute cat noises as she does so. Afterwards, she continues, saying as she then flies back over to the bed, "I don't know if Crimson is capable of magic like that, I don't know him very well, but how can you know that you're not capable of something like that, when you don't even know who or what you are...? You've been nothing but kind, and humble, and apologetic since we've been talking, so I think I can say that I know it was you who did that spell. You're not evil, and you're not the demon inside of our friend. So, thank you."

Catch patted his brother shoulder and wobbly nodded his head " yeah, good plan... we'll figure something out the right way "

"And who knows maybe some of the others might have learned something to?" Anna chime in

Weaver forces a small smile and likewise nods his head, once to Catch, then to Anna. "I feel a lot better about that," he says, then pauses. "... Hopefully Malice will take this well..." he mutters, and picks himself up again to turn to face Malice--but he doesn't head back to the bathtub this time. "Well... I can't take your offer, Malice, I thought it was a bad idea from the start, but especially after talking with my brother and sister here about it, I don't want another curse on me. There's just too many risks involved with that, and curses are never good things... We'll try to find something else."

That was something the Nightmare king did not want to hear, without that curse then how would he be able to insure that Weaver would hold his end of the deal? Without it his word was nothing more then a promise which to him was easily broken...Malice was processing what to do next, he wanted to snap out in rage and would kill all 3 if he knew he be able to get away with it and live without consequence but that wasn't the case, the Nightmare king knew if he were to strike any of them down the others would hunt for him, not that he would normally cared about that, but as it was right now even someone like Purity could kill him in his mind, let alone Boreas or the red devil, not to mention how Alex might feel about it, though he wondered if he be able to connect her to stand on his side, she already sided with him over the other key hunters so he liked the idea of her staying that way, even if he started to kill them....but was it worth the risk? Just having Alex on his side? Maybe together they could find and save Judas, with the 3 of them then Malice knew he be secure but that was just dreams...he knew that plan would fail before it even started...so now what does he do?...

Malice let out a quiet growl, he forced himself to sit up right, he wanted to see them all, One thing he did know was that he despised Dreamcatcher and Rihanna, if it wasn't for them maybe he could have won Weaver over, but that was just In his head, none the less he wasn't in a good mood but he needed to choose his words wisely..." that is on you then....anything outside of my help will fail however my offer will still stand "

" thanks but no thanks we got Weaver back " Anna said with sass

" I don't know what else we need from him but we should go soon "Catch tugged on Weaver arm, he wanted help up

"Huh...? I'm... Ok." Fiona answered, once again confused at his change of subject. He seemed to like to do that. "Everything aches--especially my face. That's the most annoying part. I'm getting better, though."

"Glad to hear that." Boreas muttered, then pointed to his nose, "You've got a little something here..."

Likewise, Fiona touched her own nose, feeling the band-aid, "Oh yeah, that was from a nasty shadow-spider thing. It jumped on my face n' bit me, /so I punched it./"

"A good fist response." The Captain briefly smirked. "My team battled winged creatures and an ogre-like one. Quite the variety with these minions of Void."

Fiona's nose scrunched up as she nodded, like that statement had a nasty smell to it, "There were a lot of evil things--there were these big bird things... And little bird things... And a wingless dragon with tiny arms...
Some manticores..." she rambled.

Weaver doesn't say anything more to Malice, he doesn't feel the need to, but he leans over and gets a good hold of Catch's good hand, pulling him up to his feet. "I don't know if we really need anything more from him right now, I think he might just need more from us..." he mutters, carefully pulling Catch's good arm around his back and keeping his right arm around Catch's back, to hold him up and give him more support. "How're you doing, brother?" he asks.

"Your team had a hefty handful of battles too, then." Boreas commented.

"Yeah... We... We did. We took out most of them... And we helped a lot of people... We rescued them--Crimson too!" Fiona started off well, but started speeding up as she went,
"A-and we all made it here... I think we're all getting help here! Crimson, Eira... Rahab... We're all... We're..." Her voice faded and she let out a quiet, frustrated growl at what she'd just said, "No, not all of us...
There are still people out there--/and Terra./ The last I remember seeing him, he was... Agh...!"

"Fi. Deep breath."

"But--But him and Sparky--did you see them when you got here? Are they okay?!"

"/Fiona./" Boreas reached out and touched her shoulder, "I'm not telling you anything until you calm down."

The young Elemental was staring at her uncle, eyes tense. But she still did as he said--taking in a breath and letting it out. "...I wish I could see them..."

"I know. You're being choked out by a storm load of critical situations.
...Let's take it slow." Boreas instructed. //...This isn't working. Let's try something else.//

Catch Let out a quiet hiss as he got to his feet, his body was Letting him know he needed to rest longer " everything feels tingly, kinda like that feeling when your arm or legs fall asleep "

" I'm sure some proper rest and food will help with that " Anna began to hover round the two boys

Malice didn't like the fact Weaver was right, he did need them more then they needed him.... he had no control here, no pack, no allies except for one, it was not a pleasant experience to know that you're going to die soon...
