@razrdraws Yes you did blend on colors! Glad to see you taking big leaps! I just saw your question about hair. It is important not to try to draw or paint every hair. That winds up looking messy. In general you want to look for sections of hair, clumps of hair, etc. Often painters have a trick to see less detail by squinting.

But either way you want to look for the areas where the light hits the har, and the areas where the hair is in shadow. These large areas give the form to the whole. You want to star with large shapes before then getting more detailed.
Then you can put in some hints of individual hairs. The brain is accustomed to interpreting faces and hair, etc. So if you give it a few hints, it fills in the rest. For that part I tend to use slightly more transparent brushes, and draw some shapes that follow the larger areas.
You might try looking at a magazine or something with hair (one that you don't need later) and take a pen and circle the different areas of light hitting the hair. THen you can start to see how these patterns work in different hair styles.
I also drew a head with a pen, took a photo on my smartphone, and then printed off a bunch of them on the same page and then took a pen again and started drawing different hair styles on the same head, just to get more practice at this. You don't have to ever show it to folks. But then if it is cool and you want to you can upload it somehwere.
