*Shadow's eyes are heterochromatic, and during Spite of Love Ink shows an intense interest in the apprentice due to the fact that they are both heterochromatic and that she resembles how the asiatic mom used to look
*Shadow's locket was made by Nightmare for her birthday and as a sort-of betrothal/marriage gift
*Although Ink and Vaati have attacked her before, she doesn't hate either of them due to them both having... issues
*She loves sweaters
*Her ears are a headband, but her tail is real
*Vaati isn't her biological mother, just adoptive. Vaati reveals that she was found in a bush during a heavy snow, no parents or tracks in sight
*She hates being away from Nightmare because he always manages to hurt himself
