a quiet place by mcollins

Ah missed the deadline as usual lol. Still, @mimo00 created a fun contest and I loved seeing the other entries so I wanted to join in.
I was planning on adding more dynamic lighting but I may as well upload now or it'll probably become another one of my many unfinished pieces that just sits in my collection taunting me.

@mimo00: Ah well. I'm not bothered. It's good to just have motivation in a new challenge.
If you'd take a request I'd love to see a leopard drawn in your style. (I always request big cats)

@ponopzop: thanks :)
I wanted something to close the composition in a bit. Didn't intend to make it quite as eerie looking but there you go

@Hailsss: Thanks :)

@ponopzop: A few reasons. I do a lot of oil paintings so I want my digital paintings to have as much of a similar process as possible so I can transfer my digital style over to real canvas more effortlessly. I don't want to depend on layers and then hinder myself when I have to do a painting without that option.
Also, I feel like switching between tools kinda interferes with my momentum when I'm in the zone

Those foreground elements really work well to bring things up close. And I like the peninsula in the mid-ground. Good job!
And glad you are doing some art again!

@tall73: Thanks!
I have been doing lots of digital art this year. It all just takes a while to fully finish and upload.. but there is more on the way. I'm disciplining myself a lot more now
