But thank you, I had fun with this. The soft brush makes it much easier to blend. But you have to work to get hard lines.

At the end I used @Acchan's doubling trick. Since mixing with the soft brush sometimes leaves it less solid you can duplicate the layers and get a stronger effect.

Oh it's a secret? I thought it was obvious.

It is so fun to watch the videos and just watch the art come to life.

I think this is my favourite face you've painted so far. It reads really well! Awesome work. :D

@Taco-San I agree, I was surprised how well the soft brush worked for this purpose. I might use it more.

@Hailsss I basically never sketch things first. There are a couple of exceptions in the gallery. Essentially, I like to dive in and enjoy the process of working things out by shape.
It is great for entertainment, but not as good for precision. Most professionals would tell you not to do it, especially when developing skills. It makes getting proportions harder.
But I still like doing it that way, and I am more interested in the fun of the process. If I have to be tedious about it I probably wouldn't bother.
And I have trouble with lines on Colors, though obviously others do not.

@ponopzop It is actually a youtuber that has been covering some of the events in Canada. But he does come across as a kind person.
I got the hair a bit long in the lower part of the head. And it skews red a bit too much. But it was fun practice.

@Hailsss You should definitely go by what your parents say. But you can still join the contest without joining the realism group.
And I am sure we can still discuss some techniques in the gallery as well.
