Ammonites are a group of extinct marine mollusc in the subclass Ammonoidea of the class Cephalopoda. They lived between 409 & 65 MillionYears Ago; appearing in the Devonian and died out in the K-Pg Extinction. Ammonite fossils, when viewed in section are known for their beauty.
