As requested by @Jikkermanccini
"The sun beats down with unforgiving scorch. Equiped, and well insulated, this ranger wanders the sandy badlands, a dutiful response to the call of distress by those who research the land for it's many wonders, their claims of sighting some.. unusual movement beneath the dunes. The scouts report strange lines in the sand."
The request was to make a "Space Ranger". Somewhat inspired by the armor designs used in the Halo game series. Please enjoy. #AjcrRequest
The Colors! Gallery moderators will look at it as soon as possible.

I'm not sure this is what you had in mind when you requested a "bubble helmet". Had a lot of trial and error coming up with designs, poses, color scheme, etc.. (most of which was discarded and not seen in the plsyback), but I'm really happy with the final results here. I have some oppinions about the Goblin armor from Halo 5, namely that I don't like it all together, but some cosmetics of this were used of what I did like.
Feel free to make of this what you will.

The guy and the scene look great. That ship though seems to break the composition. Elements leaving the painting can take your eye out of the scene.

@tall73
Thanks for the comment on composition. That's something I don't think I've ever considered. I think I can see your point.
I tried to accomplish two things with it. First, to practice a light source beaming around a mid-background object. Second I thought it helped create a scene with it zooming in and out of the composition.
That being said, perhaps next time I could put some effort instead into background details entering the composition in a manor that the scene is more focused on what's on screen.
My own personal criticisms are the following:
in the background to the left where the ground meets the sky, I think I could have done better there. With the shading on his right arm (holding the rifle), The point where the orange meets the brown on his gauntlet feels like it wasn't shaded correctly, as if the light was passing through the elbow pad. Just a couple minor grievances that cought my eye after I published it.
Again, thanks. I'll take that as advice next time.

wow, this is amazing! Sorry it took me so long to see it. If I ever end up using the design (which I may actually do, with some tweaks) I will absolutely shout you out. I love the shapes and general organic-ness of the armor!
By bubble helmet, I meant like a traditional 'space man' helmet, kind of celestial and mysterious looking. But I like this more grounded feel a lot better!
Thanks again and God bless!
