Don't litsen to your family and relatives, if they can't accept your art then screw them. There are people on this platform that love the art you make (me included). Don't stress about pleasing people who don't understand that art can be hard, it can be challenging. Take your time and just try your best. As you draw more, you get better so practice drawing people, one step at at time. Take baby steps, practice makes perfect after all. :)

I think your ponys are down right awesome! I dont think there is anything wrong with practicing on humans, I do it all the time, and there is no way that I could draw ponys as good as you do! I think you should draw what ever tha' heck you want to!

There will be people who want/tell you do draw more of this or that in a specific way and trying in your own way to draw that is fantastic but don't let that stop you from drawing what you love to draw. Your art is your own not for other people to try to manage. Improvements take time as long as you stick with it. Saying your style is an 'anime style' is super cliche. Well wishes to improve art is nice but trying to make you change what you do isn't. There's nothing wrong with what you draw now as I see it and I personally enjoy the style you have and what you draw as well. You do you. Sorry hearing people do that just irk me bad sorry if this is all over the place...

Don't listen to them, draw what you want to draw and what you love. I'm sorry this is happening, I'm sorry to say this but your relatives are kind of the wrong for saying something so demanding and harsh. Your art is great don't feel like you have to change it due to something someone said.
