You got to make some artwork that would interest everyone. I don't just automatically just follow someone's artwork when asked. Let someone follow your artwork naturally. It's more fulfilling than to ask people to follow your stuff. You have to have something that will interest your followers.

That is where you have to figure it out my brotha. But here's a hint: Just draw what you like. That's what I've been doing for a couple of years. Other than that, just draw. If you need help on drawing things or need inspiration, get some How-to-Draw books from either a book store or from Amazon online. You can even look up How-to-draw vids on YouTube.

There's no such thing as artwork being trash. You just need to draw more and learn a few new techniques. That's all. Keep on drawing man.

There's a problem with that. You need to draw characters for art trades to happen. Whether it be an OC of a species from a existing series (case in point a koopaling) or a complete original character that's not from an existing series, you have to make a character for that can happen.

Just one character is not enough. You need a few more characters for any art trade to happen. You have to give the person options of characters they can draw.
