A proper farewell. by Goofy-Joy
Oh boy, where do I start? Well first off, this is in fact my official good-bye. This was long over due, and I am sorry for disapearing for awhile, without notice.
This place deserves a good goodbye. Colors! was a great experience. I met so many good friends, who helped me to be happy on here, some of which are extreamly close to me still. Talented artists, that gave me good skills in my own art. I become so much of a better artist just from being on here. Thanks so much to everyone who has followed and liked my drawings! I never thought I'd even be noticed on here. I guess I was wrong!
But as much good as there was here, there was also a lot of bad. Some of the hardest moments I went through online were here. I made it out much smarter, and stronger though.
So in all, thanks Colors!, and all of the poeple I interacted with on here, for one of the most interesting, and best experiences I'll have online.

But! This doesn't mean I'm gone completely! I'm still posting art on Artfol, I'm joyzie on there. Im not extremely active since I am quite busy irl. But feel free to message me on there, if you're intersted with what I've been up too, or why I actually disappeared from here in the first place.

was fun while it lasted! I kinda stopped posting and never felt like it was worth saying goodbye, but glad to see people have still made some memories on here in the later years of this site

Lol I wouldn't really say I'm thriving, since I don't really care about attention my posts get. Like-- engagement is appreciated, of course, but I'd not care if no attention was paid to my posts.
I'd say I'm completely disconnected from the community these days. I keep in contact with most folks whom I am friends with elsewhere, and I've closed off when it comes to interaction out in the open (no longer comfortable with it, don't trust random weirdos) so I just never interact on here unless it's in response to something.
This site is a steady, unchanging place of comfort which keeps me posting. Though I'm pretty tired of the limitations from the tiny canvas sizes...
Anyway, nice seeing you pop up, I hope you've been doing well in these past few years :)

Lol your message gave me a mini heart attack, I thought my main acc had got banned and deleted or something. It's still around, I guess collecting smiles has hidden it due to me not posting on it in a long time? It's visible for me through my alt's following list though.

I'm fortunate in that my 3ds registers my inputs without me having to press hard, only thing holding me back is my hatred of the tiny canvases lmao
Also ahhh I see. Yeah that account's from back when spaces were allowed in usernames, I don't remember when that was stopped but I wanna say it's been IO years or close to it
I used to remember this stuff decently, my retention of it went way down when I moved to discord and essentially disconnected myself from this place interaction wise
