Sequel to "The Truth"
Bini couldn't breath, she couldn't move or plead as Astro manipulated something deep inside her. A bright light came from her mouth . Tears began to pour down her cheeks from the pain as an orb of light, her soul, was ripped from her body.
"Sorry, Bini."
The apology was forced as Bini collapsed to the ground. Taking one final breath before fading to oblivion forever.

He did, but they weren't the same. Astro had taken a lot of souls and combined them into Discord and Celestia bodes dispite Twilight, Cadence, Flurryheart and Luna trying to stop him. What he didn't consider is that he can't just combine souls together and assume they will be the same, they woke up acting almost like zombies. They could do magic and talk but their personality was gone.
