there was once a ray of light that beamed down on the void. This light would then form to make a singular all-powerful being, Ivelisse. Ivelisse was born with the power to create, anything and everything she could think of, she could make. she was very imaginative and creative, made planets and galaxies of all kinds. after making them, she spend thousands of years admiring it. but then, she started to feel a sense of sadness wash over her,

loneliness. (oh ya before this she made homus [humans] and gave them elements to see what they would do and create with them. there were six elements, fire, water, sky, night, earth, and time.) she was incredibly lonely, even if she had homus who worshipped her. So, she created the six gods, each assigned to their own element. Haco - Fire
Meris - Water
Sól - Sun/Sky
Aku - Night/Moon
and last but not least,
Aurelia - Time/Knowledge

(she also made them bcus she was getting tired of babysitting the elements but we dont talk abt tha ssshushh) she gave these Gods everything they could've asked for. (expect th ability to reprodu but we dont 5alk abt that either) she gave the Gods kingdoms, people who worship them, but also, Selenite. multiple Selenite.

Selenite is basically power in this universe. Selenite can be bestowed to a homus, granting them ONE power. only few can have selenite, about eeh, 40 - 50 % of the population
Selenite plays a slight role on why the homus worship the gods. (bcus the gods CAN die, the only way they cant die is of old age) Because homus can only have one power, they think that the Gods having more Selenite makes them divine, which they are, but only to an extent

(getting Selenite is a religous practice btw, and only the gods and Ivelisse can actually hold the crystal)

Sage - Earth

Main Plot in a cracked nutshell:
Achlys had run away from a lab that was trying to replicate Selenite, using homus as test subjects. they half-succeeded, leaving Achlys with a butterfly on his face, permanently. he was wandering thru the woods, till Sage found him. Sage, being the kind person he is, took Achlys in as his own. he raised him, convincing Sól to teach him archery, and Haco to let him go to his Academy when he was older. Achlys grew up fine, but somethng else grew within him..

jealousy. he started to become incredibly envious of his father. he hated this feeling, but it came to a point where he was avoiding his dad as much as he could. Sage's face even irritated him. luckily (or unluckily), Ivelisse got bored one day, so, thousands of years ago, She created The Game™. The Game was an event that happened when a homus decided they wanted to challenge a god to the deàth, for their spot as the elemental god. Only one time a person won one of these, and it wasnt pretty.

anyway, Achlys one day snapped.
he absoluetly DESPISED this feeling.
so, he did what he thought was the best option.
fight his own father in The Game.
Sage was absolutely DEVISTATED when he found out he had to fight his OWN SON to the deàth. he couldnt even get out of bed.

but, the day had come.
March 15th.

it was a gut wrenching battle, Sage screaming at Achlys the whole time on why, just why he decided to do this. Achlys didnt answer.

he never answered.

not even when he saw his dad's lifeless body on the concrete floor of the colosseum.

the large crowd fell silent. the gods were in pure shock. everyone was stunned, couldnt say a single thing.
Achlys became the new Nature god that spring. Although he was satisfied with the fact he became the nature god, over time, he started to feel regret. no one talked to him after that. No one, except Nioma. Nioma, she was the first person to successfully kīll a god, that being Aku. She empathized with

him, also feeling immense amounts of regret about kīllig Aku. Achlys pretended to move on, but, its the reason he'll never get a good nights sleep ever again.

okay, that was the main plot. in a bit, im gonna go over some lore with the other gods. but rn, my hands hurt lol

ok im back lets speedrun the gods individual lore

Haco - he was really interested in knowledge and learning. Aurelia BEING the god of kowledge was getting bored of knowing everything so she decided to mentor him and they founded an academ together. this is all platonic and Haco sees her as an older sister. im also working on a doomed ship idea for him and a mortal thats work in progress rn

Meris - they got attached to a homus with water selenite and decided to raise (unnamed). but then the guy gets hunted down by fishermen and dīes. so, now Meris holds a GIANT grudge against sailors and fishermen. theres even a part of the sea where myths say that once a sailor/fisherman goes in that sea they will never return.

Sól/Aku/Nioma
their lore is bunched together ill keep this kinda short
Aku and Sól fall in love with eachother. they (after a LONG period of time) get together, and eventually get married. but then, Nioma is born. half of Aku's soul is split when Nioma was born, the half given to her (ivelisse!! stop being bored!!). because of this,she always had a drive to leave home in Sage's kingdom and go to Aku's. she does, and then gets moon selenite, granting her oneirokinesis. she gets taken in by a guy

(father figure), who later on in life forces her to fight Aku in The Game. because Aku's soul was LITERLLY SPLIT N HALF, she was feeling weaker than usual, WAY weaker. meanwhile, Nioma has half the soul of a LTERAL GOD, so shes strong yk. anyway, Nioma kīlls Aku, and gets all of her soul. MEANING....... Aku sort of lives on in Nioma. and Nioma falls in love with Sól, but Sól HATES Nioma with all her being. every fiber in it.

also one time there was a group of delusional people who refused to believe that Aku died, so they made a ċult that worshipped Aku and ONLY Aku and they tried to kīll Nioma once

Sage - well... yu read the plot
but also he's transgender and how that works is that Ivelisse originally made it that Sage presentd as a woman but he uno reversed that

Aurelia - used to be Ivelisse's favorite, before Sól came to be a couple thoudsnd years later. She is the first god to exist of the 7 and canonically the oldest. nooo her personality isnt based off of Timekeeper noo shhh

Ivelisse - slowly started to beome moraly grey. why? oh shes js a TINY bit bored and wsnts to dīe sometimes bcus being immortal SUCKS but whtever..........

Achlys - plot :']

@Sp4wn_P0int_Z3r0 hiii I don't know whether you're awake/around (I still haven't got the hang of your timezone haha) but I just wanted to get smth off my chest so I'm gonna dump it down here.

It's stupid, and DEFINITELY related to my weird-āss, unwanted-gatekeeping-esque-thing that I get with my hyperfixations, but I'm feeling the attachment issues rn and I'm WAY too tired and obsessed to deal with them.

So I'm pretty sure I'm hyperfixated on @/sharp_eyed_detective's OCs at the moment (I'm spending more time on a comic for her than I have on any other digital art eep) and if you look at the newest drawing on her alt, you'll see her response to one of the QnA questions.
It's stupid and I hate it but I'm feeling the jealousy and it's pıssing me off

I think it might be related to the fact that I don't feel romantic attraction, so all my platonic feelings (positive OR negative) are multiplied ten-fold, so when I find someone cool, I DESPERATELY want to be their favourite person.
And cause Ane's so popular, I just don't get that, so all of this, combined with the hyperfixation, is creating an inordinate amount of shıtty feelings.
Please help me or I might throw my Switch out of the window /hj

I was feeling a bit shıtty last night but I'm much better now (I'm gonna watch the BBC Prom with Dvoràk's 9th in it on TV hopefully!!)

My hyperfixations don't rlly work that way: I'll find ONE THING that I obsess over entirely and it doesn't leave space for me to particularly enjoy other things (unless they're tied into it, like classical music/piano during my Bernstein obsession hehe)

I've been watching this new series w/ my parents called Slow Horses about a group of washed-up M15 agents and it's fūcking hilarious (as well as really cool and interesting)
Helps take my mind off things for a bit each evening :)
