One of the 3 main characters in Dragon Quest II, the Prince of Cannock is the most well-rounded party member, being more than proficient in both physical and magical forms of combat.

Fun fact: During a story event added in later remakes, Cannock falls ill due to a curse, and the other two scions of Erdrick must hunt down an Yggdrasil Leaf in order to heal him. However, if the player ignores this quest, they can finish the game without him. (The curse is lifted when you defeat the final boss.)
