Basically, Clementine is practicing her magic one day in a secluded area where she thinks no one will see her.
Well, Rosa just so happens to be walking by and she sees a bright light coming from around a corner. She looks and sees Clementine, deciding to introduce herself.
Clem doesn't say a word, but you can tell shes very nervous and frustrated that someone is trying to talk to her.

Clementine packs her things and leaves her spot, but Rosa follows her and tries to start conversation. Clem is pretty annoyed but eventually doesn't mind. So everyday after that, Rosa looks for Clem and watches her practice magic.
Clementine never says anything to her (or ANYONE), though. She just listens to Rosa talk. And eventually she grew comfortable with Rosa and began to say small phrases to her. Now shes the only person Clem feels comfortable talking to.
