Selfish? Inevitable? Necessary? Excessive? I'd say I don't have a healthy relationship with my own desires. However, despite my own self-forgetting and self-minimizing, this is one desire, admittedly, a need, that I'm unable to ignore, repress, and seemingly forget. I repeatedly feel an urge to apologize upon recognizing that fact.
