@CPalette late but you could missplace it- very easy to misplace a 3ds stylus (sonarpen is less cause i have it attached to the switch almost always) (or be an idiot like me and break the screws holding the back casing to the 3ds and cause of it, the stylus holder is loose... its fallen out before.)
