Princess Celestia heard the rustling of something moving above her. Her wings began to spread in alarm when she felt a light tap of a claw on her shoulder before magic surged through her body. She was useless against it as her vision became blurred and disoriented with several unnatural colours clouding the usual colours of the throne room.

Her depression, her loneliness, her need for absolute control, her wish for certain parts of High-Class Society to vanish, with other dark thoughts and traits she never dared to let take her over flared and broke through her control. Her mane turned grey and slightly hung limp. Her breathing became ragged as her mind struggled to remember her current-day morals in a losing battle.

Her vision was trying to return to normal when she heard more movement. She saw the flicker of a familiar scally tail in front of her. She turned slightly to make sure she was seeing it correctly when a voice echoed near her ear.

"Happy to see me, are you?"
