They are my favorite type of ray and I hope one day I can swim with one. They are one of the biggest rays in the world and can be around 4-5 meteres (13-16 feet). They are big filter feeders similar to whale and basking sharks and they eat plankton. A very intresting fact is that Manta rays have their gills on the bottom of their body.
