This is a painting of my favorite shark the thresher shark. Thresher's have a really long upper lobe of their tail which is used to whip sardines from schools for an easy snack. They are considered threatened by the world conservation union because they are hunted for sport and for their meat livers and fins. They are not considered a threat to humans and there has only been one attack where a guy grabbing the sharks tail. I hope you learn3d something new about this cool shark. #animals #sharks
