The song surrounds letting go of all to accomplish happiness, similar to LIFETIME, but with a twist to it.. the Chorus reveals to let go of EVERYTHING! While lifetime refers to fighting/grudges, Youth referes directly to all feelings as they could lead to the negativities that wouod lead to sadness so losing your soul would be the only way.. This message in a upbeat tune is kind of disturbing but meant to appeal to listeners...
