Dalk: It was not an easy thing. Dragonsbane cuts off much of my abilities. I have made allies of some humans, however. Rebels of those accursed knights. They do what I cannot.

-Dalk looks off as he recounts some of his adventures. Most of it makes Kalseru a bit green in the face, as well as Harane. He finishes it off with retelling of how they took down a captain-

Mana and Coordinan quickly try to keep the two girls from feeling sick by giving them advice to take continues deep breath and to focus on something else for the time being.

Coordinan: That..sounds like a rough way to live, why did you want to be apart of an occupation like that anyhow?

-Harane tries to, but gets more frustrated with Dalk than anything-

Harane: Yeah, why DO you have to do such gruesome work!?

Dalk: Yes, to answer both questions. It isn't just Noir Knights I go after. Dragonkin also..

-That silenced everyone in the room. A Dragonkin, taking out another of their kind wasn't rare, but it seemed unnatural. Goliath spoke up-

Goliath: ..I just want to know why, my son. Why of your own??

Dalk: ..Some Dragonkin are so full of hate for the Noir Knights, they try to attack them to no avail. So they take their rage out on human settlements. As much as it pains me to, I won't allow them to get hurt. Dragonkin or humans.
-Kalseru looks away, having a bit of a guilty expressiin on her face. Dalk places a hand on her shoulder-

Dalk: ...You're not one of them, Kalseru. You made an effort to change yourself. You must believe that.

Kalseru: *Quietly nods*

Dalk: You also have your lover as well, to keep your feet on the ground. :]

Coordinan: Now there's a fact that I can agree with, I'll always be around to look after this lovely lady right here as long as this humanly body keeps functioning!

He grabs a hold of Kalseru's hand while smiling, passing on that physical feeling of affection. Mana saw this and playfully makes a gaging motion at the couples public show of affection.

Coordinan: I can't see myself willingly doing the type of job you participate in and saying if it's right or wrong to do so doesn't sound like my place, even so at least your heart is in a nice enough place.

Mana: If the whole part about the other Dragonkins are true then I have a better picture to why those Noir Knights haven't completely given up on hunting you all and doing whatever they can think of with any captured ones that get a hold of after all these years.

Dalk: Indeed. I wish not to talk ill of my people, but in some ways, they are more terrifying than the Noir Knights when pushed too far. ...Well, enough my with my ramblings. I should be off. It was nice to visit, but I must get back to my group.

Sciz: Hey, hold on! Why not stay the night??

Cellal: Sure, you just got here. Why not take a rest?

-Dalk brushes, or rather tries to as the group follow him out the room. The ones who don't stay at the castle often get chased a bit.
Now that they're gone, it's just Coordinan and Kalseru. The latter sporting a more serious expression on her face-

Kalseru: ...I do not think I need to say anything about what you're probably thinking right now, do I?

Mana followed the commotion of the others as they were making their way out while Coordinan gets into a more serious mood ready to know the big mystery surrounding Kalseru's past.

Coordinan: Like what happened during this past event that you seem to be the cause of, oh yeah I need to know about this.

-Kalseru takes a deep breath before beginning-

Kalseru: ...As you know, there was a time when I couldn't use my abilities without hurting someone.. Well.. Once... When I was a child, I was with my friends.. Humans. We would spend some days together, playing, frolicking..
-As she explains, she clasps her hands together, her voice trembling-

Kalseru: ...T-the Noir Knights.. they attacked. Someone from the village had told them Dragonkin were there. Namely me.. I was chased around in the village until I was cornered.. When they rose their blade to me, I panicked, a-and... Razed the entire village to the ground... Everyone, even my friends were.. were..

-Kalseru doesn't finish. But Coordinan can probably tell what happened. She looks disgusted with her actions back then-

Coordinan: That does sound hard to live with on your conscious, but like you said you were only a kid around the time defending yourself. A lot of us have done or not done things as a child that we would regret in the future, but because of that we can better ourselves and make sure situations like that won't happen again. Those friends of yours wouldn't hold a grudge and instead encourage you to move forward, besides..I would like if my Dragonkin didn't parish back then for a crime that she didn't commit.

During their conversation he tries his best to comfort Kalseru, he has a better understanding now to why she doesn't like the previous her that he first encountered.

Coordinan: I wish you would of told me this sooner.

Kalseru: ..You can understand why I didn't, surely. It is not something I wished to share with anyone. ..Especially you.

-She looks a bit more guilty. She knows Coordinan is trying to help, but she's not certain she deserves forgiveness-

Kalseru: I have no right to say whether or not they forgive me, or they understand my outburst back then. And yet... I want this weight off my chest.

Coordinan: *sigh* I'm not the best when it comes to emotional support for others or myself, I always try to push the thoughts of guilt to the far reaches of my mind with out ever resolving it because I can't fully do so with all the traveling I've done.

He lifts her hands and placed them on her chest where her heart is located.

Coordinan: Don't do what I've done, if my words and your families can't lift those shackles that have been keeping you down for all this time then maybe this is only something you can solve alone. My only advice is to make amends for what you didn't have control over by going to that same place yourself, maybe you'll finally find the closure you've been looking for.

-Kalseru takes a minute to process that. After few moments, she looks up-

Kalseru: ...There is something that I need to do. I would like you to accompany me, I.. do not think I am strong enough to do it alone..

-She looks back at him, her eyes looking like the gentle ones she had two years ago-

Coordinan gave into the adorable Dragonkin eyes, but he had to do one thing before completely agreeing to go with her. He grabs one of her pillows and screams into it so the sound could be muffled, the sound gets quieter and quieter as he lifts himself out of the bed and puts the pillow back where it belongs.

Coordinan:....I'll keep you company sweety, so let's..go ahead and get a move on.

He was tired. Ever since they came back to the castle it's been a none stop marathon of events for him which was the complete opposite of what he was expecting for their first day of returning home. Add that fact along with his new wound made him not as outgoing and agile as he was this morning.

Kalseru: Oh, I forgot!
-She places a hand gently on his wounded area. Getting all caught up in the moment made her forget what he did for her. She cringes a bit at her forgetfullness of that moment-

Kalseru: No.. You stay here. You and Sala were hurt. I couldn't expect this of you, dear. I will return, worry not.

-She lays him on the bed, fluffing a pillow for him. She then calls some maidservants to tend to him. Afterwards she looks out the window, and quickly jumps out.
The maidservants tend to Coordinan's wounds and patch him up-

Maidservant: You should be healed up soon, master Coordinan. Lady Kalseru has instructed us to aid you in whatever you may need. u-u

Coordinan: Thanks ladies, I appreciate the company and for tending to me but you all don't have to stay in here any longer then you may need to. I'm a..just take a nap from this..point on if you don't mind....

As the exhaustion hit him hard while making his whole body heavy and his eyelids slowly started to close up the last thing on his mind was Kalseru, silently he hoped with all his leftover might that she would be safe during her time to complete her goal without him as his dreams finally get a hold of his consciousness.

(There are three options on the table, have Kalseru do her own thing without my involvement until you say otherwise, somehow get Mana to join, or a simple timeskip.)

@ShihouxAdventure ( Well, if I were to choose, maybe either Mana could go with her, or I can just fast forward the whole thing. Which one you wanna do? )

(Eh we can fast forward, if she wanted someone else besides Coordinan to tag along then she wouldn't have snuck through the window. That's how I see it.)

-Kalseru goes to the remains of the village, which had been built over with a new one. In disguise, she goes to the spot she unleashed her power and decimated it. Silently she kneels down, her hands folded and offers a prayer. Most people look at her confusion. After she finishes, she goes back to the castle and heads back to her room where Coordinan's sleeping-

Kalseru: ...Sleep well, my dear. *sits down by him, placing a hand on his forehead*

Coordinan groggily stirs awake once he instantly recognized Kalseru's touch as he slowly opened his eyes to get a better look at the pleasant sight of the person near him.

Coordinan Hey...your back, I missed..you. How did your trip go?

Kalseru: ...I don't know... I hope that it was enough. But only time will tell.
How are your wounds? Have they eased in any way? Do you need more rest?

He wiggled around a bit and gave his wrapped up chest and sides a little nudge to feel out any differences from before.

Coordinan:..They have eased up a bit, but...there still a pain to deal with. Give me until tomorrow then I'm sure it'll completely heal up and I'll be back in ship shape by then as long as I don't get hit there again. For the moment I think I'm a stay here for a few more hours before walking around again, I just woke up to make sure you weren't harmed because..I was worried when you went on your own. I've gotten so use to having you by my side to the point it feels as if..apart of me is missing when you're gone.

Kalseru: I feel the same. ^^ Ever since you came into my life, I always felt that you were starting to become more than just different human.. And now I know that you are here with me. Forever.

-She leans in and plants a kiss upon his lips, and tucks him in. She then goes into her closet to put on nightgown, then gets in on the other side of the bed and slides in as well-

Kalseru: It seems we will be sharing my bed for the night. c: I will try not to roll myself onto your wounded areas.

-She's a bit cool to the touch since she's been outside, but she warms up a little after being under the covers-

Coordinan: Thanks for taking that into consideration.

He carefully rolls over to give her a kiss on the lips, before the words good night could exit his mouth a important thought for the future entered his mind that he wanted to discuss with Kalseru.

Coordinan: I know we planned on getting married from here on out, but I never did ask how marriage works for Dragonkins compared to humans. Even though your family gets the idea, am I suppose to make you into my fiance somehow so other people will think twice about trying anything with you or what?

Kalseru: Hmm? I do not think so, our marriage ceremony is the same as humans. Sometimes a dragon oversees this, but only in rare instances.
-She rolls onto her back, pondering this for a bit-

Kalseru: ...I guess there always is the special marriage ceremonial robes for the bride and groom respectively. Ones are usually made in advance, or past down from parent to child when they are of age to marry. Mother had one, but that was in our past home. Before the attack.

Coordinan: A d-dragon over sees it, I don't think I would be able to only focus on you during our special day if that was the case.

He chuckled from the little joke he made before calming down.

Coordinan:..Sorry to hear that, it would of been nice for you to have something else that was in your mother's possession but it sounds as if the both of us are going to have to find a way to get our own ceremonial robes because I definitely don't know anyone that would be willing to pass one down to me.

That was something to figure out for the coming times along with..one more thing Coordinan found embarrassing to talk about even with his future wife.

Coordinan: T-There is also one more topic that I wanted to hear your thoughts on, w-would you be willing to..have a k-kid with me? N-N-Now I'm not saying we should have one now, I think it's still to early for that though! It's a topic we can practice for when it comes to the real thing and it'll give us time to come up with a good baby name!

After asking the question he instantly sat up and frantically moves his hands around as he quickly puts more thought into the conversation before stopping to hold his side when his pain made itself well known.

Kalseru: Indeed, marriage robes are usually passed down from Dragonkin parent to offspring. But in other cases, we can have some custom made for us. We shall have to see a tailor.

-Her gentle expression disappears as a beet red one replaces it. She stumbles over her words-

Kalseru: W-W-WHAT!? I, I mean you, I-I mean..!! A-A BABY!? S-such a thing...!! O-oh my.. *She covers her face in embarrassment as she tries to shake away that feeling. She was SO not ready for that-

Coordinan noticed her old self came back into the light again thanks to that question washing away most of her confidence, the two were beat red and embarrassed which made him kind of regret asking that question but he does his best to continue speaking so the two wouldn't be sitting there in awkward silence.

Coordinan:..I'm sorry for the unexpected question, but...this felt like something we needed to discuss. I never asked if you wanted to start a family of our own because I had a feeling..it would turn out like this.

He gestures to the two's embarrassed expressions.

-Kalseru doesn't move her hands from over her eyes. He can feel her power rise from her embarrassment. Eventually she calms a little-

Kalseru: ...L-look, it isn't as i-if I want children one day, b-but we aren't e-even married yet! o///o T-there are many things we must prepare f-for when that d-day arrives. S-such as finding a dwelling to safely raise our young-! The bag is a wonderous place, b-but I wish not for our children to get lost inside should we and Mana choose to leave for what ever the reason..!

-Even though she's saying all of that, the real fact of her having a baby is still a lot to take in. However she doesn't seem opposed to becoming a mother herself-

Kalseru: ...But I did consider... having a baby... O-or 8..

Coordinan hair was rising as well before calming down along with her.

Coordinan: You do have a point about that, I don't think most of the other Flix know much about taking care of a baby- WAIT DID YOU SAY EIGHT?

It seemed as if Coordinan's whole body shut down on him after hearing that number along with the word baby, he knew taking care of a kid would be tough by itself but eight sounded impossible. Although-

Coordinan: W-Well for you I wouldn't mind putting in the effort of...having and raising eight little versions of us together...I would do anything to make you happy.

He grabs her hands and slowly moves them out of the way so he could get a better sight at her face as he gives her a peak on the lips for the night.

Coordinan: Maybe thinking up some names for our eight kids would be a nice way to put ourselves to sleep, sorry again for that exhilarating question and..good night.

He faces the opposite direction from Kalseru as he went to sleep with the two's future on his mind and the many possible names that his kids could go by. He doesn't try to cuddle up with Kalseru just in case she wanted some room to think for herself.
