Spunning off from the Madou Monogatari series of RPG games, Puyo Puyo is one of my favourite games in general, thanks to It's gameplay and quirky characters. The game was first released to the MSX and Nintendo Entertainment System in 1991 for Japan only, with the later 1992 arcade game being it's ticket to success and 1993 was the year the U.S. started to play this game via different localized reskins from Dr. Robotnik to Kirby to Timon and Pumbaa. Happy 30th to one of my favourite games in general!
