I was just wondering if it was possible to get the "Weekly Winner" badge for the two wins I received before the badge was implemented.
Also, as a former challenge winner, can I still choose a theme for a future Weekly Challenge?

I think that's part of it. There weren't as many people here as there are today.
And as for why I thanked the individual, it's because I wanted to make special mention of these firsts for me, these milestones and those who helped me get them.
It's a lot harder when there are 100+ people though. That's how my Smash picture came to be... (´∀`
