While I wish I could say I had a ton of recommendations for you the sad truth is, I don't.
Like you I've always stayed in my own little corner on Colors, content with making art for the sake of it.
In fact I don't really participate in any fandom I've ever been a part of, so I'm sorry to say that I can't even help you in that respect either.
Honestly Colors has lost much of its old community, but with Colors live coming out on the Switch I'm hoping a brand new community will be born here.
But, it's not a big or popular site which is why even though it saddens me greatly when an artist leaves I never blame them, there are greener pastures out there.
Regardless I hope you find what you're looking for. I just wish I could've been more helpful.
In the mean time I'm glad you'll be sticking this year out, what you've accomplished here you should be proud of.
