Basically an NFT is an image that is used as cryptocurrency. Its a scam, encourages art theft, and harms the environment. The owners who bought Neopets partnered with a brand new NFT company without telling Neopets. We all thought it was a scam at first, but its offical.
Its called "Neopets Metaverse" and if the project goes through, it will ruin Neopets in more ways than I can say. The website JellyNeo sums everything up if you want to know more.
