I use the hard brush (or classic hard brush if this artwork is copied to colors live) with the opacity adjusted around the mid part of the bar and using the color picker tool, It takes getting use to picking colors that blends with each other.

Its the color scheme I guess XD. Funnily eniugh I wanted to draw Ganondorf someday (either Twilight Princess or Hyrule Warriors)
