The goal of this work was to make the painting look like a charcoal drawing. The green eyes were originally added to really pop the focal point, but I think it gives the witch a magical feeling too.

I had planned on painting this as well but, you've done a much better job at it than me. This actually looks like you used graphite or pencil to draw this. I am very much impressed. :)

Lovely effect. I would say the green of the eyes actually detracts a little from the overall look you achieved. But still, dig the faux tooth of the paper.

Thanks everyone for the comments! I did not get quite the effect I was after, but a nice one none the less.
Inque: I encourage you to still try painting the image if you were planning on doing so - their is room in the gallery. :) Who knows yours might even come out more accurate to the reference, especially since I was only able to use it briefly while waiting for the dentist leaving the rest to finish from memory.
Munin: I'm going to have to disagree with you on the green eye bit and have even seen many a master artist use this technique... I guess its a personal tastes, I still value your opinion though. :)
