-Kalseru walks up to the air mattress and gently presses on it a few times. It was way different than the beds she was used to. She looks back at Coordinan-

Kalseru: Would it be alright i-if I were to sit down on this... air mattress? It looks so peculiar, and yet, I would like to try it. I-if I am to learn more about the things you interact with. 'o'

Coordinan: Yeah sure go ahead, you let me lay and sleep in your bed so I don't mind doing the same in return.

He rearranges some of the papers he had lying around as Kalseru gets adjusted.

Coordinan: I hope your folks are still keeping track of the bag while we're in here because I really don't want to have to deal with some burglar or unfamiliar territory that I've never been once we get out you know whenever you're ready that is, I'm not rushing you.

Kalseru: Rest assured, Coordinan. My family can be trusted. Your bag will be safe as long as they are around. ^-^

-So saying, Kalseru sits down on the mattress. She jiggles a bit from it due to how that type of mattress usually is, but soon she settles-

Kalseru: This... is quite the experience. :o It feels so strange. Usually our beds are stuffed with some type of cloth or feathers.
You sleep on this every night?

Coordinan: Whenever I'm traveling and it gets late at night I come inside here and fall asleep in that exact same spot, I even have a big enough blanket somewhere in that booth. As the name implies it's filled with air like a balloon but it's tough enough not to pop when you lay on it and it takes a while to fill it back up with air since it slowly deflates over time but it's better than sleeping on the ground.

Mana: There's no outlet that flows with electricity in here to power the machine hooked up to the mattress like some areas in human civilizations so Coordinan here has to put in the effort to pump the air in himself with a air pump.

Mana grabs a blank piece of paper from Coordinan and sketches out a air pump to give Kalseru a visual of what she was describing.

-A visible look of confusion is shown across her face as the two explain to her how they pump up their mattress, and about machines.
Needless to say, technology is unheard of to not only Kalseru, but everyone in her realm-

Kalseru: Machine..? You know how to harness the power of lightning, Coordinan?? You are even more amazing than I thought! :o I had no idea you were a mage!

Coordinan: Wha- NO, you got the wrong idea! I'm no mage, *sigh* how do I explain this? Humans from my original world along with others have ways to make and use electricity to power machines which are contraptions that they use to make they're life easier. This mattress right here isn't the craziest thing they've made.

Coordinan didn't take into consideration that a lot of the stuff that he found normal was out of this world compared to Kalseru.

Coordinan: It's a good thing that I wasn't here during you and your families struggles against the Noir Knights, I could of helped sure but I could of also made situations way worse then they already was.

Mana: You've got a point, we have enemies that have tried to gain access to some of the stuff in her especially when it came to more of the destructive related ones. If the Noir Knights did the same and succeeded in doing so along with making their own versions of the original there's no telling how much destruction they could make.

Coordinan: This is the main reason why this bag is so important and why we are pretty cautious about who has it and where it's being left.

-Coordinan suspected right about Kalseru, because the more he tried to explain about modern technology, the more visible confusion she had on her face. But one thing she understood loud and clear; The thought of the Noir Knights getting hold of the bag was a real danger-

Kalseru: It is good thing you left your bag with my family. Had the Noir Knights taken it, they would've given it to their strongest mage to break into. I shudder to think what would transpire if they got their hands on it. ;-; It would be chaos..

Mana: L-Let's not talk about that, the less we do the better because I don't want us to get jinxed in the future!

Coordinan: Anyway on another topic I could expose you to some similar places to the ones I was describing whenever we fully settle down here and get everything in order. It would be nice to see how you would react to some of the things I come into contact with during our travels.

Kalseru: W-would it really be alright?? Your people.. They would not be afraid of me..?

-Being in her home for so long made her respond in that manner. Sure, humans are giving Dragonkin another chance and vice versa, but that fear of being outed stilll sticks in her mind-

Kalseru: Are humans... different than they are here? Will it be safe to be seen with me when we leave my home to go to new lands?

Coordinan: Of course, as long as you don't use your powers in public you'll be able to blend in perfectly. You already look human to me right now, besides even if someone finds out your not and has a problem with it then you should know deep down that we'll always be there to look after you.

Mana: If they mess with you I'll give them a mean uppercut to the jaw.

Mana simulated what she would do to the poor jerk.

I think it's preaty cool! it reminds me of Yumi Nikki! :P

Kalseru: xD You're a real treasure, Manna. ...Well, for the most part, I do not use my powers. So humans are really never going to know who I am. ^^" I think.. No, I know I can make this work..!
-Kalseru clenches her fist. She really wants to do her best to do bigger things. Not to just to help people not worry about her, but for herself as well. She turns to Coordinan and Manna-

Kalseru: I... would like to travel with you two sometimes. If you will allow me, that is. I want to explore more places, see more things...!

Mana: Of course you can sweety, we'll start off by exploring somewhere that you've never ventured to in your world first before we can even think about traveling to an entire different world altogether. You could probably even learn more about what to expect on our next big travel from a few books of ours that we keep.

Coordinan: I don't mind having you along as well, that is one of my dreams to begin with. Although we're gonna have to start you small and work yourself up from there, I still remember that your brother mentioned your stamina wasn't all that great.

He giggles after remembering that comment from her little brother as he sits beside Kalseru on the mattress with a hand gently placed on her.

-The dragonkin puffs out her cheeks in frustration. She remembered her brother's jab at her all too well-

Kalseru: T-that is not true, I can take care of myself! >:T D-Doryu does not know me at all, he is mistaken about my stamina.. >:'c

-Despite her demeanor, right now she looks even more determined to prove them wrong about her. She turns to Coordinan with a fierce look-

Kalseru: I can take wherever you want to show me. I am ready to go any time you are! >:o

Even though she was being real serious it was hard for Mana and Coordinan to take her seriously with her cute expressions, they were holding back their laughter before calming down.

Coordinan: Okay my adorable ferocious dragon, we'll think of somewhere for all of us to explore. Start testing and demonstrating those skills of yours, I'm sure they'll be helpful.

He stretched out her cheeks while making funny faces with them.

Mana: I'm still real curious to know if there's any area with some unexplored locations for us to try out, like an old fortress that needs investigating or a temple with rumors surrounding it about a treasure of some kind. Coordinan stop messing with the poor girl for pete sake.

Kalseru: I-I am serious!! Behold, I will show you my power!

-She closes her eyes and begins to focus. She squints harder as the air around her changes from docile to worrisome to dangerous. Her flowing hair begins to spike to ressemble the horns of a dragon, and veins begin to course through her forehead. Her face also begins to gnarl up as the same chaotic electricity that was shown her eyes begins to become visible around her body-

Kalseru: H-ha... HURRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAGHHHHHHHH!!!

Coordinan falls off of the mattress by surprise from the intense power up and the sudden change of appearance. The air that she was generating blew the papers from his desk away while torching a few others from the electricity, this whole showing of power was shaking the surrounding area near them. The dangerous air and shaking had the Flix in disarray like whenever an ant mound is disturbed, some changed black ready to confront whatever was causing the problem, some were freaking out on what to do and many others from far off sensed the chaos and came with the intention to help. Mana flew off trying to keep everyone safe and situated while leaving Coordinan to deal with the task here. Coordinan quickly gets up and shield himself from the gust of wind combined with electricity was he tries to get Kalseru to halt her action.

Coordinan: Alright we got the picture, your strong! Now cut it off!!

Coordinan tries getting closer to her, but continuously gets shocked in the process.

-Kalseru charges a bit more, but then realizes what she's doing, and immediately stops. She looks really scared-

Kalseru: !!! N-no.. No, I've done it again..! D': A-are you ok!? I-I didn't mean to- *growls and shakes her head* W-why me...

-Her face now ressembles that of a dragon. Her form now looks more buff and menacing-

(I know this is a pretty cliche idea, but it would be so cool if a very few powerful Dragonkins had the potential to fully change into a Dragon. That would be so cool for Coordinan to have a lover that can change into a giant white Dragon!)

Coordinan walks up to Kalseru without uttering a word before giving her a hug with no hesitant behind it even with the new bigger and buffer appearance of his lady.

Coordinan: It's alright, I know you didn't mean to do all of this on purpose and I'm fine as well really. I just have a few burn marks on my arm here and there, it's nothing that time can't fix.

He shows his arms which have multiple dark black marks from where the electricity struck him repeatedly. It hurts, but he was doing his best to look on the bright side after all of this instead of the negatives for Kalseru.

Coordinan: Honestly we brought this onto ourselves for laughing at you, I knew you were strong from the way you described your powers and how on occasions you would pick me up so easily but it's still attractive and reassuring to know that you can handle yourself if you wanted to. Next time though..give us a heads up if possible.

( Actually, some Dragonkin can do that! :0 There's a few who have that ability than the ones we see normally. :P Kalseru does seem different, though. Hmm... )

Kalseru: N-no, it's my fault.. I knew I shouldn't have unsurfaced my dragonic power.. *Takes his arms* L-Look at what I've done..! I've hurt you so badly-! I'm a danger to be around, I-I knew it..!

-She starts to sob softly. Kalseru, being a Dragonkin has her own struggles as well having to hide from Noir Knights. It's lot for her to hold it together-

Coordinan: Even if you are dangerous I'm still committed to stick by your side through and through, I'm not breaking that promise. We need to be prepared for situations like this because there's bound to be many more in the future, as long as we're there to support each other then everything will be alright. You can let all your built up emotions out around me.

He continues to hug her and be her human sized tissue to cry on while bringing them both down onto the mattress to cuddle and relieve some of that stress. Kalseru was already slightly taller than Coordinan, but now that she went through that transformation the size difference was more noticeable which was weird for him though at the same time it wasn't going to stop him from doing what he does best. Mana came back after saving a few Flixs and explaining to everyone what happened while also convincing them that everything would be alright, some took extra time to convince when it came to if it was a good idea to keep Kalseru inside this world though. Now she's tidying the spot around them up as she keeps quite and listens to her girl's sobbing.

-As she cries more, Coordinan can feel Kalseru's body begin to debuff as she shrinks back to her normal form.
She tries to stifle her sobbing, thinking it was a bit pathetic of her-

Kalseru: *sniff*! S-sometimes... Sometimes I wish I w-was like mother.. Human.. With no powers like I have now.. I wouldn't.. hurt the ones I care about.. My siblings can handle it more so than I..

-She wipes the tears from her eyes, slowly starting to calm down. Coordinan learns that Kalseru wishes she didn't have her dragonic abilities. Seems like she's wished this for a long time..-

Coordinan kept quiet while rubbing his hands around her back as a sign of comfort, he didn't feel like it was his place to answer if it would have been better for her to be powerless or not. On the other hand someone else did.

Mana: And you think that's going to make anything better?

Mana floats over the two with a serious expression on her face because of the fact Kalseru was beating herself up over what happened.

Mana: Let's say you did lose all your powers and you were in a situation where you were helpless to do anything when it comes to protecting your family because you weren't strong enough, then what your going to wish for the complete opposite!? All I'm trying to say is be grateful for what you have, your powers maybe destructive but it's up to you to better yourself in controlling it instead of mopping around about how it's a curse for you. If you won't commit to making a change then you'll always be stuck at square one.

( This is feeling more like a genuine anime, omg. :O )

-Kalseru clenches her fists while continuing to look at the ground. Somewhere inside she thought that maybe Mana had a point. But it was still hard for her to believe it herself. Accidentally hurting the one she cared for was something that haunted her ever since her powers first awakened. She looked at Mana-

Kalseru: That seems so easy to say... But Mana, this power... The Omen Dragon. Its power is not that simple to keep at a level where it's easy to interact with people. *Gently holds Mana in her hands*
It is so easy.. So easy to crush something. To throw something with great force. To obliterate everything around you with your chaotic breath.. And even still, you'd choose to be with me.
-She smiles a little. She's starting to feel a little better-

(Then that means this story has more potential to it, we just need to dig deep and come up with more ideas together!)

Mana: Duh, of course I would! I've dealt with stuff similar to your powers in nature longer than you've possibly been alive, I just need to have a heads up next time if you ever do something like that again.

Coordinan: If your serious about making that power more of your own without causing serious damage to the people and land around you then if you go deeper in here it should be a perfect training spot for you, this place can take one heck of a beating.

Mana: If you do so make sure to take one of the Flix with you if I'm busy or not around at the time, they'll be able to guide you back easily if you get lost. Also..get Coordinan as well.

Coordinan: Eh, why me?!

Mana: Those creative battle skills of yours don't need to be getting rusty on all of us especially so when it matters and two lovers sparring together sounds like a romantic pass time. *sigh*

Kalseru: Maybe so.. But I wish not to endanger anyone when I release this. Coordinan. If you wish to accompany me when I tap into my powers, I want you to PROMISE me that you'll get as far away from me as you can. If I hurt you this much by merely summoning it, I don't want to see what happens when I release my power.

-Kalseru still has a tear or two in her eyes, but her expression has turned more determined. It looks like she no longer wants to run from her powers and is now ready to master them.
With him and Mana by her side, Kalseru is confident she can master them. ...With a lot of practice-

(*Final Fantasy victory theme* New trophy unlocked, character development.)

Coordinan: Alright I promise, but if I find out something went wrong over you from using your powers then I'm rushing in to save you! I don't want you to get seriously hurt or worse when it was me and Mana who persuade you to do this in the first place.

He wiped away her tears while holding her cheek in the palm of his hand and staring into those determined red eyes, he was real proud at seeing his Dragonkin break more and more out of her egg shell compared to the first time they meet. He could definitely see a change along with a burning fire inside her.

Mana: Well this was a eventful tour that gave me two things to plan around during my free time, I wonder if any possible future ones will top this. Anyway whenever you're ready to train then let me or Coordinan know, also if you want to stay here longer it's fine but we'll be alright if you want to go back to your original home as well.
