@YeNa: Thank you. And, that's what I was trying to do capture the gesture. The woman didn't stay still long enough for me to do anything else with this. Honestly, I've not painted anything in a long while. I plan to paint with Colors soon. (Tomorrow, Dec. 28, 2012 to be exact.) Drawing and painting is a way to make me feel better so, I'm gonna fire up the DS Lite and the 3DS to create some more paintings. You inspire in more ways than one. I would like to have a Tea Party one day like the Tea Parties you and your friends have. I don't know why I didn't think about doing it that way. :)

let me know if you do a tea party! they are brilliant. I haven't done one of those for a while - they are sometimes a way to make me feel better as they bring fresh clarity. But at least drawing is a habit that i don't have to think about too much, it just happens :D

I know I won't be able to do it exactly like yours because, there are laws here that prohibit hanging things like that on trees. I'll have to do it in my apartment with some green tea or Cpt. Picard's favorite; Earl Grey. I'll figure it out when I do it. Maybe, I'll do an Alice in Wonderland concept for this tea party. That would be great. :)
For some reason, I've been feeling stagnant with my art and haven't been inspired to draw or paint. Although, in recent months I've started sketching in a sketch book and it's nearly complete; just a few more pages and I can start another one. It's mostly a bunch line art with red .05 lead. I like to use mechanical pencils. Believe it not, that's part of the problem. I need to use regular drawing pencils to feel more organic and free. Instead, I feel confined and rigid. I've got 3 days off starting this Monday. So, I'll start drawing with ball point pens, brushes, and regular pencils. Somewhere in there I may get some Colors DS & 3DS painting done. I'll keep you posted on how it goes. (I've been thinking about finding my copy of Amelie and do color scripts from this movie at some point during my three days off. :)

YeNa, I've finally come out the funk I've been in for about six years. The good thing is I'm drawing more. And, I actually want to start back painting. What's more is I'm starting to work freelance. It's for some relatives but, it's a start in the right direction. :)
