A Bittersweet Nostalgic Letter to Colors! 3D by natomical
Almost ten years ago I downloaded Colors on my old ds and put in hundreds of hours. I owe lots of my younger practice to Colors, one of the first digital art tools I ever used.
Unfortunatly, one day when I grew older, I found my old work "cringey" and deleted everything including my old account.
Now being a third year animation major and improved in artistic skill, I feel sad that I cant look back on the old work I started from.
But atleast I still have the memories, and nostalgia. :")

Forgot how limited descriptions are and wanted to say more, even if its just for my own desire to "archive", and less of something others see.

I love opening colors and getting the nostalgia wave, even though it makes me melancholic.
I wonder how many older colors members I interacted with are still using their DSs. How is their art now?

Over five hundred hours of work gone... and my own work that I do now is at risk due to the Apple cloud being a little frustrating with procreate.
I cant let the same mistake happen again, I need to do something soon...
A shame Apple makes it so cumbersome and difficult, oh well. I need to find the time.

Has it always been this hard to draw on the ds? How in the world did little me do so much?! This would have taken me like fifteen minutes on procreate, took me an hour here lol!

Its really nice to see the thoughts of another OG, its feels lonely that everyone on here is completely different than back in the day haha what was your old username? I have to remind myself to keep all the cringy old art on my page, i can't believe how dedicated everyone was to making the most out of a limited program with 3ds quality resolution.. I'm sorry to hear about your old account :(

yes ok, old work is a fun memory! maybe some sentiment some feelings attached to it, but I think it was good for my development to trash all my old art, going forward with only the new me!
