Oh... so I guess something dark happened?! He wasn't aware he wasn't human, or something happened and he sudenly wasn't? I got so many questions............. but I'm too freaked out too! (Don't know why robots/cyborgs/androids scare me SO badly!)

I should provide some context:

SPOILERS AHEAD:

This was practice comic to show how the world affects the characters. Roger's a rebellious solider (for morally right reasons) who's hiding in the shadows, so the govt was looking for him. They found him and to keep tabs on him, they sent a romantic, robotic partner--Axel. Axel was able was to get close to Roger and learn his secrets.

Cyborgs are viewed as second class citizens. Robots, even self-conscious ones, are viewed as mere objects.

Roger, right now, has conflicting views. The love of his life is a govt project sent to expose him, and he's questioning if their relationship was even real to begin with. On time of that, Roger's daughter Lucielle is a meta-human, or Evo is you'll please, which are deemed as dangerous. So Roger's pissed that Axel knew all along, all while putting his daughter in danger as well.

Oh, I see.... I can just imagine how everything Roger probably feels; his lover told the truth, but time whole time he also possibly put him back into something worse than death....
